Joy Comes In the Morning

1,850

PSALM 30:5b ”weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

To weep means to cry or shed tears, it could also mean to lament.

People often times weep when they are faced with one form of difficulties or the other. In this country today, many are lamenting due to the current economic situation of the country. Even as believers there are times we when pour out our mind to God in tears, there are times, we cry unto God in prayers due to the situations we are going through.

As believers we have been assured by His Word that, though weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning

Whatever you are experiencing today as a believer, count it that it is only for a moment, because no matter how thick the darkness all through the night, it cannot stop the light of day.

When you go through the dark times in your life always remember that God is with you. This He promised in His word:

Isaiah  43:2 ”When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.

Matthew 28:20b ”and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.

Brethren, sin is the major thing that can make the joy and morning of a man to tarry.

Isaiah 59:1&2   Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

His eyes are too holy to behold iniquities and devil knows this, that is why he goes about to tempting believers to ensure they fall into sin so he can have the free hand to manipulate them and stop their blessings and joy.

Our journey here on earth could also be likened to night but at the end when we shall be with our Heavenly Father in eternity, we shall experience everlasting joy that knows no bound.

I pray we shall all make it IN JESUS NAME.
