http://ena-musikverlag.de/?feed=rss2 Phew! Just today, I have gone to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and every other gossips blogs I know. Every minute, my hands have unconsciously attracted my phone like a magnet … replying every chat, checking my contacts timeline updates (zooming in and out of pictures) and the list goes on and on. These need to stop, I told myself again… I have even done this in church and a ‘nasty lady’ had called me to order … and I kept wondering what her problem was.

Jane! The Holyspirit beacons “How many times have you checked your bible for updates today?”  “These have got to stop; you have to be in control! You have done this at OUR prayer time, during personal and family devotions, while praising the Father, and even in moments of true worship”

order clomid cod In recent times, I have begun to question how socio- media has become a compass that directs our daily lives. Can we just stop and get way back to the early 80’s before the invasion of telecommunication, internet and socio- media? When we go to the library to read, source for materials and nothing disrupts our attention. When we read books… physical books and write with pen on a note, physical notebook. When we carry the bible to church and open them to read as the minister speaks the word of God. When we write our notes in Sunday school and even keep personal diary/ journal. When we write letters to people we love both far and near, actively putting our minds to work. We don’t do all that any more but we chat away our time and rarely socialise, holding on to our phones and devices while our time with God diminish.

go God will supports us, as believers, to be in control again but it is the believer’s responsibility to do what he has been called by God to do (Philippians 2:13).

watch So there is a need to source site consciously refuse to allow socio- media determine how the day is spent, by making a decision to better utilize the day. It takes action, like Jane did, she said ‘I won’t fiddle with my phone while at work’, ‘I won’t chat in the mornings of everyday’; ‘I will put my phone on silence while praying and put it away while in church or devotions’.

click Let us all like Jane make a resolve to be in control of our lives including the socio-media platforms around us!

go see Confess these words:

Philippians 4:13Amplified Bible (AMP):

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”
