Being Weary
Being weary comes with a lot of problems, issues, concerns, etcetera. It’s a situation where you are tired of your current situation— you’ve probably been waiting on God, and it seems you’re invisible. These and many more could be the reason you are here and there is a solution to your situation.
The Solution You Need
The solution you need lies in your mindset. It lies in what you see and what you believe in. It lies in your level of positivity over your level of negativity.
Let’s do a quick reflection— Ask yourself this question; “What do I think about this situation?”
If your answer turns out to be positive, it means you have a higher chance of coming out of what makes you weary. If your answer is negative, it means you have more work to do, and you also have a chance of coming out of what makes you weary. As previously stated, the solution lies in your mindset, and to get you out of this situation, you need to change your mindset.
THE SOLUTION PILLS
Matt.11.28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (NLT)
Jesus is the first pill. He wants you to come to him, to hold onto him, to cry to him so that he will relieve you of your burden. Let’s paint a scenario—whenever you want to defecate, you tend to be very uncomfortable until you unload that stuff from you into the water closet (WC). You observe that you can’t hold it in for too long, and the WC is always there to ease your comfort, and you get relieved afterwards.
This is exactly what Jesus does for you. He is always there to take away all those burdens and whatever you are weary about. You need to acknowledge that you need help and you can’t do it alone, and the more you rely and trust him to relieve and comfort you—the more you obtain rest and find peace.
Isa.40.31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (NKJV)
Waiting and trusting in God is another pill. Do you see what the word of God is saying? It says that when you wait on the Lord to rescue you and free you from the situation you’re currently facing,
Your strength will be renewed. You will no longer feel tired—which is one of the symptoms of weariness, but you will be filled with strength, hope, passion, and energy to strive.
You will soar higher. It means you will surely come out of this situation and become much better. This is the promise you should hold onto. The situation you are in is only temporary, and you will surely overcome it with the Lord’s help.
Going to Jesus will not only free you, but gives you a sense of direction. You will become filled with the zeal to strive and continue—never getting tired.
What you should do now
Find a quiet place rid of distractions and disturbance.
Keep your mind open
Tell Jesus about your concerns.
Write down what is being prompted in your spirit. (It could be what your spirit is saying)
Find a scripture or word relating to your situation in the Bible, and personalise it when reading.
Read it aloud and re-affirm it (Keep it in mind and, if possible, memorise it and always re-affirm it till you’re completely free)
