Genesis 1:28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
One of the first instructions God gave to man after creation is “Be fruitful and multiply”. And he is expected to do just that, MULTIPLY! Ofcourse, God didn’t mean the instruction and blessing to end with the first man and neither is the covenant of fruitfulness and multiplication specified and purposed for Abraham and his offspring alone. Galatians 3:29 makes this especially clear: “If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise.”
Have you been barren in any area of your life? In business, marriage, career, academics etc? Do you know there are some specific principles that must not be violated if the covenant of fruitfulness and multiplication must manifest in an individual’s life?
