One fellowship in University of Lagos that has raised several Generals that have been a great blessing to the body of Christ is Lagos Varsity Christian Union (LVCU aka The Glorious Family). Many of the people who have served as executives in the fellowship go into ministry and continue to do the work of God in various sectors across the world.
This year, new set of Generals are set to be ordained to the fellowship executive comprising of 45 exco members. The ministration would be taken by Bishop Francis Wale Oke, a former President of the fellowship and would be graced by Pst. Tunde Bakare, the senior Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly (also an alumni) and Pst. Azuka Ogbolumani, the Chaplain of the Chapel of Christ Our Light, University of Lagos and several other anointed ministers of God who have been raised by the fellowship in the last 48 years since the inception of the fellowship.
The LVCU ordination service is usually a time out for alumni across the country to reunite and get involved in the activities of the fellowship. The venue is Chapel of Christ Our Light, University of Lagos from 2:00pm (GMT +1).
