WhatsApp Launch Payment Starts in Brazil- CEO Of Facebook

It was on Monday 15th June 2020 when Facebook founder Mike Zukerberg announces the launch of payment for people in Brazil using Whatsapp. According to him, it enables the easy payment of small business transactions to be done as easily as possible.
In addition to the above, he adds the building of Facebook Pay which he launched last year, provides a secure and consistent way to make payment across Facebook app.


Whatsapp in its blog post gave the payment service fee currently( no commission fee) for customers to use. However, the business pays a 3.99% processing fee to receive payment working via a 6-digit pin or fingerprint. The use is done by linking up your WhatsApp account to your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card.
Facebook appreciates her partner’s local banks; Banco do Brazil, Nubank, Sicredi, and Cielo the leading payments processor for merchants in Brazil.
