There is no other kind of salvation in Jesus apart from the Eternal one. But if the Author Of ETERNAL Salvation warns me expressly in His Word about …
The danger of being a foolish virgin (Matt 25)
The necessity of abiding in Him (John 15)
Taking heed lest I fall (1 Cor 10:12)
Not continuing in sin and expecting Grace to abound (Rom 6:1)
The possibility of falling away (Heb 6:4-7)
The necessity of DOING HIS WILL (Matt 7:21-23)
Wisdom demands that I should listen to Him because He died for me and He gets to set the conditions of my salvation. I don’t get to do that.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
A man who is truly saved should know who saved Him and be completely submitted to Him.
