So many of us received great prophecies for the year towards the end of last year or at the beginning of the year 2017. Those prophecies contain revelation about what the days ahead hold for us; some are clear instructions & direction.
What I intend to address in this piece is: what do you do with those prophecies? Do you go to sleep and do nothing believing that since it has been spoken forth, it will surely come to pass?

Let me start by debunking that myth: that God said it doesn’t automatically mean it will be manifest. I know some of you may be shocked to hear that, but that’s the truth. If you, the recipient of the prophecy, don’t take corresponding actions, those words will just remain hanging in the air. Yes God is faithful and His Word is forever sure, but man has to cooperate with Heaven for those things said to manifest in time & space. Many prophecies have gone unfulfilled, not because God’s Word failed, but because the men involved didn’t corporate with Heaven & take corresponding actions that will guarantee manifestation. Perhaps they didn’t know how to respond to prophecies received.

So what are those corresponding actions? How do you cooperate with Heaven to bring about what He has spoken forth?

“This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:”
I Tim 1:18-19

Paul instructed Timothy to wage warfare by those Prophecies. Why warfare? Because the enemy will attack & fight; he will try to stop that prophecy. In actual fact, he can’t stop the Word that has gone forth. However, you have to hold firm in faith to the spoken word. To effectively do that, three things are key:
1. Meditate/Speak
2. Pray
3. Worship

1. Meditate/Speak
You have to immerse yourself in those Prophecies. Take the words spoken forth, get corresponding scriptures and meditate upon them consistently until it becomes so ingrained in your deepest consciousness. I recommend you do it every day for @least six weeks. Remember, you can’t meditate without speaking; so keep speaking those words together with the corresponding scriptures

2. Pray
I Kings 18:41-43
41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees,
43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

Elijah spoke forth God’s Word but went back to travail over those words till he saw the cloud form. You can’t go to sleep simply because God has spoken. You stay on the mountain top; you travail over the words spoken forth; you birth those prophecies in time & space in the place of prayer.

3. Worship
You have to rejoice over those prophecies as though they’re already fulfilled. Abraham understood this principle.
Romans 4:20 “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God”
So take out time to sing, dance and celebrate the fulfilment of those words that have.

In addition to the above, you may need to research & study in line with those Prophecies. Get information. Prepare yourself. Position yourself accurately for the manifestation coming.
To the toast of a fulfilled and glorious 2017.
